KaLinn Dishion  Director of Operations and Designated Broker

KaLinn is an Idaho native whose grandparents homesteaded near Boise.  Both her grandfather and her father were successful real estate brokers, so a career in real estate is a very natural fit.  She has lived many places, including San Diego, Southern France and Seattle (where she attended the University of Washington), but the exceptional beauty of Idaho has always called her back home to her roots.  KaLinn has managed several law firms and started her own computer consulting business in Sun Valley prior to getting her real estate license in 1990.  She joined Group One in 1998 and after 15 years as a successful real estate agent, KaLinn was ready to dedicate herself fulltime to the management of Group One as C.O.O. and Broker.

As COO for Group One she is responsible for operations and management of 2 offices, hiring, training and supervising approximately 20 support staff, negotiating and administering contracts for facilities, equipment and services, and supervising the publication of their weekly magazine. In 2007 she oversaw the design, construction and opening of the new 22,000 sq.ft. office in Eagle, Idaho.  As part of a 2-person management team she participates in identifying, developing and implementing strategies to achieve sustainability & profitability, analyze and identify real estate trends and industry changes, assist in financial management, and develop and coordinate internal and external advertising.

As broker she is responsible for the activities of all persons associated with the company, including approximately 150 licensed agents.  Always available to agents and clients, she assists in contract preparation, negotiations and dispute settlement, developing and coordinating agent support services (training, orientation, graphics department, transaction coordinators, marketing, and contract support), and is responsible for legal and ethical compliance requirements as well as serving on various real estate related boards, committees and task forces including Vice President of the Intermountain Multiple Listing Service.  KaLinn was awarded the  2009 “Broker of The Year” award by the Ada County Association of Realtors. 2010 President of Intermountain MLS.
