Suggested Interview Questions For You

The selection of an agent is extremely important to getting your home sold for the highest possible price and with the least amount of inconvenience to you. You deserve an agent not only with a proactive marketing plan, but also with the education, ethics and experience to anticipate problems and handle them in a timely and professional manner. The following questions can help you make that choice.

Do you work full time as a real estate agent?

Is your license in good standing?

Are you also a broker and/or REALTOR? (Not all agents are REALTORS. REALTORS are agents who are voluntary members of the National Association of Realtors and have to adhere to a strict Code of Ethics)

How many years of experience do you have?

Do you have any statistics on your percentage of satisfied clients? Will your company provide a client survey for me to complete once our transaction is finalized?

Will you handle all aspects of my transaction or will you delegate some tasks to a sales associate or administrative assistant?

How would you assess the current market for selling?

What is your company's current market share?

What is your list price/sales price ratio?

What percentages of your listings sell?

What continuing education have you taken and what designations have you earned?

Would you show me some of your marketing information and samples?

How often will I hear from you once my home is listed?

Do you have some references I can contact to inquire about your services?

What can I do to help sell my property?

What will be your primary method of communication with me?

Do you have a personal web site actively linked to current housing information?

Does your company have a web site?
